Drink to Me Only With Thine Eyes

Note that this tablature is for an Eb whistle.  Of course, if you are playing solo you can play this on any whistle – you'll just be transposing the song to the key of the whistle.

Here's a four-part whistle arrangement in the key of G if you have three whistling friends.  The soprano and alto parts are tabbed for a high-D whistle, the tenor part is tabbed for a low-G whistle, and the bass is tabbed for a low-D whistle.  Note that I could have tabbed the tenor part for a low-D whistle as all the notes fall within the whistle's range.  However, you'd need a lot of breath as almost the entire song would be in the second octave.  For those who have thus far escaped WhOAD (see the Chiff and Fipple website) this is proof positive that you really need a low-G whistle!

The standard notation is in four-part harmony and includes the lyrics as published in The One Hundred and One Best Songs.
