| This is the tablature for use on a D whistle. Note that there are a couple of notes below what is available on the whistle. You'll have to experiment to determine what works best for you, or use one of the alternate tabs below. |

| This tablature eliminates the notes that are too low at the expense of playing almost the entire song in the second octave. Note that this requires the D in the third octave. Most whistles are capable of reaching that note with a mighty puff. This is suitable for low whistles and high whistles that aren't too shrill in the second octave. It's a good wind-builder, too. |

| This tablature is for those fortunate enough to own a whistle in the key of A. Of course, if you are playing solo you can play this on any whistle – you'll just be transposing the song to the key of the whistle. |
